By downloading, installing, or using BillTip ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
BillTip is a tipping calculator and bill splitting tool that provides general guidance on tipping customs in various countries. The App is provided by Klifter Apps ("we", "us", or "our").
The tipping information, cultural notes, exchange rates, and calculations provided by BillTip are for informational and entertainment purposes only. They do not constitute financial, legal, or professional advice. Tipping customs vary widely and may change over time. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information provided.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Klifter Apps shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to:
— Incorrect tip calculations or suggested amounts
— Inaccurate or outdated cultural tipping information
— Inaccurate exchange rates or currency conversions
— Any social, financial, or other consequences resulting from following the App's suggestions
— Loss of data stored on your device
— Interruption or unavailability of the App
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
You acknowledge that tipping practices differ by country, region, and establishment. You are solely responsible for determining the appropriate tip in any given situation. BillTip's suggestions are general guidelines and should not be relied upon as definitive advice.
BillTip offers an optional one-time in-app purchase ("BillTip Pro") to remove advertisements and unlock additional features. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not handle payment information. Refund requests must be directed to Apple in accordance with their refund policy.
The free version of BillTip displays advertisements provided by third-party ad networks. We are not responsible for the content of these advertisements.
All content, design, and code in BillTip are the property of Klifter Apps and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
